Joel Long

Idaho

Joel hails from Idaho, and has been waterfowl hunting for 8 years. He works as a firefighter and EMT in northern Idaho. Born and raised with hunting, his dad had him in a backpack at 6 months old going elk hunting. Joel now uses pretty much any excuse to be in the outdoors. He loves hiking, hunting, fishing, riding snowmobiles, and riding dirt bikes. When hunting season arrives, he goes all in. His season starts out with a bow in hand in August. Mid-October arrives, and it’s time to hit the early waterfowl season. When waterfowling slows down, he grabs his rifle and heads out to fill any left over tags. In late November he gets the Stoeger back out, and hammers birds all the way through January.
