I was born and raised in the small city of Demopolis, Alabama. I have a wonderful wife named Kayla, two beautiful daughters named Karoline and Kamryn, and a lab named Brinkley. I grew up mainly deer hunting with my grandfather, who taught me everything I know today. It wasn’t until I became an adult when I was introduced to duck hunting. After my first hunt, nothing else seemed to matter, I was hooked and my desire for the sport still holds strong today. I am lucky to live in Demopolis because the city is nearly surrounded by a river. This offers me an amazing opportunity to hunt public land on an almost daily basis during the waterfowl season. I also love to travel to hunt and experience different terrain, hunting styles, and waterfowl species. I have hunted mostly in Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Missouri but I hope to soon venture out into different regions and flyways. When I’m not hunting or working I spend a lot of time training my dog, who I hunt with and participate in AKC and UKC hunt tests with. I couldn’t ask for a better companion. Brinkley absolutely loves her job and her desire to please is unmatched. I involve my daughters in waterfowling and dog training every chance I get and I can only hope that as they get older they will share my passion and desire for hunting.
